Terms of Use
The agreement for using our website, member platform, and community services.
These Terms form an agreement between you and AiNetworking-Canada Corporation.
1. Acceptance
By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting an application, registering for an event, or using the member platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use the services for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to act for it. Minors who cannot legally agree must have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
3. Accounts
Provide accurate information, maintain only accounts you are authorized to use, protect your password, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account. We may require profile completion or membership review before enabling some features.
4. Community conduct
Use the network respectfully and lawfully. You must follow the Community Guidelines and must not harass others, impersonate anyone, spam members, scrape or misuse member data, bypass security, upload malware, make deceptive AI claims, violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, or use the platform for unlawful or harmful activity.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, promote, and improve the services. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content.
6. Visibility and member interactions
Profile settings and feature descriptions indicate the intended audience, but you should not treat member spaces as confidential. Members are responsible for their own communications, collaborations, offers, events, and agreements. We do not endorse or guarantee any member, opportunity, employer, partner, or transaction.
7. Moderation
We may review reports, limit visibility, remove content, suspend features, or terminate accounts when reasonably necessary to protect members, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or preserve platform integrity. We are not obligated to monitor every communication and cannot guarantee that all objectionable content will be identified.
8. Programs, events, and external services
Event details, speakers, dates, availability, and access arrangements may change. Third-party sites, tools, and services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. A link or collaboration does not necessarily mean we endorse the third party.
9. Educational information and AI
Network content is for general educational and community purposes. It is not legal, medical, financial, employment, cybersecurity, or other professional advice. AI-related information and recommendations may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect and require appropriate human review before use.
10. Our intellectual property
The website, branding, software, design, original materials, and organization content are owned by or licensed to AiNetworking-Canada Corporation. Except as permitted by law or written permission, you may not copy, sell, reverse engineer, or create misleading uses of these materials or marks.
11. Availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We aim to operate a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free availability, preservation of every post, or a particular community outcome.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AiNetworking-Canada Corporation and its directors, officers, staff, volunteers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, loss of data, profits, opportunities, reputation, or member relationships arising from the services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.
14. Ending your use
You may stop using the services and request account closure. We may suspend or terminate access for breach, risk, inactivity, legal requirements, or discontinuation of a service. Provisions that by their nature should continue will survive termination.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, disputes will be brought before the courts located in Manitoba.
16. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will identify the current version by its effective date. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms. Questions may be sent to info@ainetworking.org.
These launch Terms should be reviewed as programs, paid services, partnerships, or member transactions expand.
