Find out which follow-up need is worth addressing.
I see a need. What could I create?
Write one thing a participant should be able to do after the workshop, then state what is not yet known about the difficulty.
Maya separates her observation—people receive only slides—from the untested assumption that another document would help.
Maya and every example here are prepared learning material, not a real case or an AI-generated result.
My idea brief
- Describe the gap
Describe the workshop and what follow-up exists. Separate what you observed from what you assume participants need.
- Understand the people
Identify the intended learners and prepare open questions about applying the workshop content. Do not infer needs from a job title alone.
- Name the benefit
Describe the useful action you hope the resource would support—not how much content it would generate.
- Compare possible approaches
Consider a short practice resource, clearer slides, and a conversation or existing support. Describe where AI might help preparation, if at all.
- Choose what to learn first
Select one assumption to investigate before making materials. Choose a manageable next action and any permission needed.
Need or solution?
Which statement is a useful question to investigate before Maya builds?
Every option has an explanation. Open as many as you like — nothing is recorded or scored.

I have an idea. What should I make first?
